Hohokam Water Management Simulation

Note: The HWM Site is down for maintenance and development. Please try back after July 1st, 2008. Thanks- John

The Hohokam Water Management simulation is designed to simulate Hohokam Irrigation practices, including water flow, seasonal crop growth, agricultural productivity, and (eventually) social organization and the decisionmaking processes involved in organizing the cooperative effort of building the canal system.

This website is designed to integrate the data underlying our understanding of Hohokam society with respect to the problems the simulation addresses; to provide an easy interface through which to build that data set; to provide easy access to designing and executing runs of the simulation; and to provide summary results of the simulation.
